Marmaduke, the movie

The movie Marmaduke is about a two hundred pound teenage dog named Marmaduke.

At the start of the movie Marmaduke’s owner Phil gets a job in orange county California and the whole family including Marmaduke and their cat move there. Their new house is much bigger than their old one and it has a pool. But they get a funny company car that is very small. Phil’s new job is a marketing job for a company that sells dog food and every day he has to go to a dog park to discuss things with his boss.

Every time Phil goes to the dog park he takes Marmaduke along and Marmaduke makes some new canine friends. But there is also a dog that tries to beat up Marmaduke and later in the movie Marmaduke takes over his position as the alpha dog of the park.

With his new friends, Marmaduke had a party at his house while everybody was away and when they came back the house was in a mess. The family banished Marmaduke to the back yard and Marmaduke ran away. After a while he thought it was not a good idea to run away and he tried to find home. Somehow he managed to find his way into a river, but Phil saved him. Phil was fired for not coming to work.

The next day Phil got his job back because of the things he did to save his dog and Marmaduke was friends again with his old friends that he was previously mean to.
